Out with the nasty carpet and in with the new wood flooring!
We needed a thin flooring material that the popout in the camper could slide over. We also wanted something more rigid to hide the manufacturers imperfections in the subfloor. We found a Lowe’s Brand laminate flooring that fit the bill and looked great. It was a bit tricky trying to mix the boards enough that the patterns didn’t match up with it’s neighboring board; but it looked great in the end and has held up these past 6 months.
A note to the RV industry: Why carpet? We have to sweep the dirt and sand up from the floor daily to keep this tiny living space clean. Why would you ever put carpet in something like this. Seriously why would you do that?
